About us
It started with a hot dog. Our founder, PGA pro Pete, dropped a bite of something wonderfully greasy onto his favorite pair of bright golf pants mid-round. One stubborn stain later, they were history.
He went shopping for a replacement, expecting a quick fix. Instead he found rack after rack of navy, gray and beige. Perfectly nice navy, gray and beige. At the other end of the shop: pants that were, well, a little much, even for us.
The middle was missing: sharp, athletic pants with real color. Pete figured he couldn’t be the only golfer who wanted them, and that if nobody was making them, someone would have to. So Bright Bogey was born in Jyväskylä, Finland, with a simple idea: make golf a little more colorful.
Finland helps. When it’s dark and gray for half the year, you don’t take daylight for granted. We wanted clothes that feel like a perfect summer afternoon on the course.
We believe in the power of solid color—clean lines, athletic silhouettes, and fabric that dries fast and doesn’t wrinkle. Whether you are making a birdie or hunting for a ball in the rough, we think you should do it with a smile. Navy will always have its place. We’re just making room for a few other colors.
